To complete
Sirius K9 Training’s Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Obedience
classes (and receive a certificate), your dog must be able to perform
the following exercises using a voice command (or hand signal). Only
two commands will be permitted (a hand signal counts as a command)
per exercise during the exam (no corrections are allowed). Treats & toys
are permitted at all levels as a reward AFTER completion of ALL the
exercises (not during.) Treat aprons can not be worn during the test
and no toys or treats are allowed on the handler during the test. Handlers
will hang on to the end of the leash only, and the leash must remain
loose the entire time. During the Basic exam, hand signals are not
permitted, and you can not point, snap your fingers, or bend over.
And during the heeling part of the exam, the end of the leash will
be in your pocket or over your shoulder. Training collars are permitted
during the basic exam. During the Intermediate exam, the leash will
be the same as above, however, only a nylon or leather collar will
be permitted. And during the Advanced exam, your dog will be off leash,
however tabs are permitted. (Same collar as in the Intermediate exam
will be worn.)

pass the Basic Level Certification, your dog must be able to:

Sit, down, & sit from a down at your side (in
heel position) and in front of you at the end of the leash |

Heel = at your side (includes left, right, and about turns)
and an auto sit when you stop
