Roxanne Baudry

Roxanne grew up around animals, and started working with dogs daily in 1997 where she would foster hard to place dogs from the local SPCA one at a time, training them at home and bringing them back to be adopted on the weekends. The dogs were eager to learn, they loved the attention, and were placed quickly.

Since then Roxanne has been working on her BA in Psychology and Child Development. She has 2 dogs, and 4 cats. She has trained her dogs, German Shepherds, in advanced obedience, personal protection, agility, and currently narcotics detection. Both her dogs are also Therapy Dogs, and participate extensively in the community. Roxanne is a Committee Member and Team Leader for Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs. She is also affiliated with Guide Dogs of America and is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Labrador puppy- a hopeful future guide dog. Roxanne is back at the SPCA as a volunteer trainer/socializer helping dogs and cats find permanent homes. She is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid.

Roxanne currently assists with training our In-kennel training dogs.
