Intermediate Obedience

SATURDAY Mornings (& on some weeknights)

This is a 1 hour long RSVP class. (See instructions below on how to RSVP.)

Anyone wanting to attend (after completing an Intermediate Obedience Intro Class with one of our trainers first) must either call or text 714-296-9714, or e-mail us at info@siriusk9training.com Everyone who has RSVP'd will be added to the class roster and will be notified of class dates via an email.

Our Intermediate Obedience classes are held in Yorba Linda at one of our private locations.

It is an on-going class with no start or end date. You can attend as often as or whenever your schedule permits with just an RSVP beforehand! This class will help prepare your dog for the CGC and Therapy Dog tests, our Intermediate Obedience test, and our Field Trip Obedience and Protection Training classes. It is great for companion, working, and service dogs.

Class Fees: $25 per class.
You may pay via our website under Make A Payment, venmo, zelle, or in person before class with cash, check, or with a credit card. ** PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE CLASS WITHOUT PAYING FIRST.

Location: At one of our training locations in Yorba Linda.

Prerequisite: Your dog must be able to pass our Basic Obedience Test to attend this class.
If your dog hasn't been tested by us or ever been to our facility before, you must schedule an obedience evaluation first. (Please see our Basic Obedience Test below.) If you are not a current/past client of ours and/or trained your dog elsewhere, you must schedule a private lesson to be tested by one of our trainers out of our Basic Obedience Level first, before you can attend our Intermediate Obedience Level Classes. Please thoroughly review our Basic Obedience Test and put your dog through the test at a neutral location away from your home to properly assess your dog's skills before contacting us to schedule a time to be tested. If your dog cannot pass our Basic OB Test as shown and described below, then you would begin with our Basic Level first, by either attending our next Basic Obedience Class, via our In Kennel Training, or through private lessons with us.
Also, before attending our Intermediate Obedience classes, (once your dog has passed our basic obedience level test with one of our trainers), please schedule an Intermediate Obedience Intro Class with one of our trainers so that you can begin working on the new exercises prior to attending your first Intermediate Obedience Class. Contact us at info@siriusk9training.com to schedule the intro class or to have one of our trainers put you through our basic obedience test (if you feel your dog can pass the test.)

This class covers: Hand signals, sit / down in motion, food refusal, out of site long stays (with distractions), long recalls (with return back into heel), the stand position, and much more!
